The documents in this section are designed to support your school and business partnership activities. These include a guide to help you get started and a certificate template if you've already formed a school-business partnership and want to celebrate your joint work.

"Towards the end of 2023, we undertook a new partnership with Bramble Brae Primary school in Aberdeen. As we progress into 2024, we will be looking to further cement this relationship and support Bramble Brae through a variety of different initiatives, whilst also helping to promote STEM activities with the youngsters."

Marketplace and My World of Work (MyWOW) are two key resources from Skills Development Scotland that can help educators tap into activities to develop careers awareness and skills.

Marketplace

Marketplace is an online portal which features opportunities from employers, including class talks and workplace visits. There are employer resources that you can use in class too. The Marketplace homepage also provides access to Founders4Schools where you can invite a role model to come into your school free of charge.
My World of Work

My World of Work

My World of Work includes a set of tools and resources to help primary teachers and their pupils. The tools are suitable for pupils in primary five to primary seven.. A set of teaching activities have also been developed to help you explore even more aspects of work with your pupils.
