  • Our website content management system Craft CMS records the total number of views that our website gains, however, does not store personal information relating to you, your device, or the way you use the dyw.scot website.

If you accept optional cookies, DYW Scotland will use Google Analytics (GA4) and weebly.com to store information about the following:

  • The pages you visit and how long you spend on each page
  • How you got to the DYW Scotland website (Google search, social media links etc)
  • What you click on whilst visiting the DYW Scotland website
  • The type of device used (eg. Mobile, tablet, desktop)
  • The location of users visiting the site (not specific - country and city only)
  • Language of users visiting the site

We use such information to help make sure the site is meeting your needs and to help us make improvements.
Any information we get is anonymised so that we can't identify anyone by it. For example, we never receive your name or address.

We don't make any attempt to find out the identities of people visiting dyw.scot, and we don't allow Weebly or Google Analytics (GA4) to do this either.

All information we get through cookies and analytics will be treated in confidence. We will never sell, trade or give your details to third parties, unless we're required to do it by law.
