The Palace Hotel has formed a collaborative partnership with Peterhead Academy. The Hotel has also recently joined the Young Person's Guarantee.
As part of their commitment to Peterhead Academy and the Young Person's Guarantee, The Palace Hotel is providing career inspiration activities for pupils to showcase the careers, pathways and opportunities within the hospitality sector.
The programme of activities offered to pupils includes work taster sessions for young people who are undertaking a Foundation Apprenticeship in Hospitality.
Pupils were also invited to attend The Palace Hotel's own careers fair.
Each of the work taster sessions were extremely successful. Pupils were exposed to various hospitality functions and were able to gain hands-on experience.
The Palace Hotel, Peterhead Academy and DYW North East are now looking at further ways to expand and develop their partnership activities to further benefit young people.
