AGS Career Con

Overview

The entire S6 year group from Aberdeen Grammar gathered at the Robert Gordon University to hear short presentations from each employer, with the opportunity to ask questions at the end.

Results and effectiveness

The presentations helped pupils to gain awareness of different sectors and roles, and also demonstrated that career pathways are rarely linear.

Additional benefits

Each employer gave pupils some top tips to take away. The event was hosted off-site within a lecture theatre at the Robert Gordon University, so pupils also benefited from experiencing an event in a higher education setting.
